Chancellors Tavern is a wonderful modern hotel, a staple in the Sippy Downs community, with great facilities for everyone to enjoy. 

Over the years, it has evolved into a modern establishment offering a variety of amenities, including a bistro, sports bar, gaming area, and a spacious beer garden. 

We’re everything you’d come to expect from a stand-up Queensland pub – with great service and exceptional food and drink. 

In 2023, the tavern underwent a significant refurbishment, transforming into a lush, green oasis. 

The existing bottle shop drive-through was converted into a sleek industrial sports bar and dining area, and the gaming room was expanded and updated. 

Our bistro and outdoor dining spaces were also updated, with a new kids’ play area and outdoor bar added. 

We are located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland as part of the Chancellor Village shopping complex, so we’re well within the heart of Sippy Down’s shopping area. 

In the two decades since we opened, we’ve been a local to many. People visit our Tavern for the family-friendly environment, and kids love our playground. 

Sippy Downs is a strong local community, and we’re close to some wonderful destinations including Mooloolaba beach in one direction, Buderim next door, and the rainforest in Montville – located in the Blackall Ranges on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, just a 30-minute drive away.

We have a great open beer garden and put on live music every Sunday, Tradies love the tradie club on Friday afternoons, and we’re a Dog-friendly venue – welcoming space for our best four-legged friends.
